Blaze Entertainment has today announced the next entry in the award winning line of Super Pocket handheld retro gaming consoles from its brand, HyperMegaTech! – Rare!

This new handheld features 14 built-in games from the history of Rare, one of the UK’s most prolific game developers, and responsible for globally renowned titles, many of which are included on this handheld console. The Rare Edition of the Super Pocket will feature titles from many different consoles and, for the first time on a Super Pocket – 64-bit console and home computer titles!

These games are regarded as some of the pinnacle of their genre, with the legendary 64-bit Banjo-Kazooie leading the line-up, enhanced and optimised with additional control options for play on Super Pocket. Rare’s classic Battletoads series also represented, and the original appearance of the now naughty squirrel Conker. This is alongside some of the best in platform and top-down adventure games for home computer and fan-favourite racing titles from 8-bit consoles.

This Super Pocket is the 7th release from HyperMegaTech! with the award-winning line of licensed handheld consoles featuring previous entries from Capcom, Taito, Atari, Data East and NEOGEO. This Rare Edition of the Super Pocket will release in June 2026, and pre-orders open today, through Evercade retailers.
As with all Super Pockets, the Rare Edition will include a cartridge slot which is compatible with Evercade cartridges, allowing fans to expand their selection to over 650 games via the 75+ cartridges release in the Evercade ecosystem. Each Evercade cartridge comes with a full colour manual and they are readily available from Evercade retailers from £19.99, $29.99 and €24.99.
